It’s the first day of spring baseball and you notice your new team is playing at an advanced level and it’s your turn to showcase your skills. However, when the coach calls for you, it takes you too long to put on your protective gear and you’re passed over and have to watch another player shine when it should’ve been you. But what if there was a way to play the game safely protected and it didn’t require a lengthy application process?

In this article, I will discuss the new innovative design of Quick Shield catcher’s shin guards and protective batting gear that will cut the player’s application time in half, while keeping them fully protected from the dangers of the game.

The catching position in baseball is debatably one of the most important positions on the field. Not only are catchers involved in every play during the game, but they’re also utilized between innings to warm up the pitchers, as well as in the lineup as a hitter. One of the hardest parts about catching is the fact that your protective gear must come off and on multiple times throughout the game, and oftentimes this can lead to disappointing delays. Coaches and teammates often become frustrated with the catcher for taking too long to complete the very lengthy task of strapping on their shin guards; ultimately resulting in lost time and focus.

With these barriers in mind, Quick Shield has developed an innovative technology that allows you to strap on your shin guards using built-in magnets and one convenient strap. In a recent prototype testing, Quick Shield shin guards were put to the test to see how much quicker it was for a player to apply and remove them. In the demonstration, Quick Shield provides visible proof that the Quick Shield Shin Guards were easy to apply and were fully on and off of the participant in just 21 seconds. In comparison, the traditional shin guards took 1 minute and 18 seconds to fully strap on and remove. The remarkable 59-second win over the traditional shin guards leaves us to conclude that Quick Shield catcher’s shin guards will allow catchers to be more efficient athletes; thus, allowing them to spend less time strapping on their gear and more time focusing on the game ahead of them.

Quick Shield has also designed an assortment of body protection gear; this time with the hitters in mind. Like catchers, a hitter needs to be protected from the inevitable dangers that come with playing baseball. Traditionally, hitters have used elbow guards and shin guards that are a hassle to put on and take off, and often come undone due to the Velcro that becomes too worn. But now, Quick Shield has designed the perfect line of magnetic protective gear that is simple to put on and includes a variety of options such as rib guards, shoulder guards, hip guards, shin guards, and elbow guards.

Whether you’re just starting your baseball career, or you’re a seasoned pro, it is important to wear protective gear that is safe, breathable, comfortable, and most importantly does not inhibit your movements in any way. Quick Shield has the technology and the products that will keep every player protected, with the peace of mind to focus on the baseball season ahead.
